“Where has this month gone?” and “Time flies…” seem quite appropriate today since I just realised how long it’s been since I wrote anything original. (The TitleTrakk Blog Tour was a pre-made blog entry.)

On the plus side, I have my Christmas shopping done (minus stocking stuffers, which I’ll probably do next outing) and a list prepared for cards I’d like to send this year. Once the cards are in the hands of Canada Post workers, I’ll start wrapping my presents.

I’ve also read a couple of books lately and managed to get some proofreading done for a friend. Have thought about writing but didn’t actually produce anything more than ideas. (Oy.)

I won’t make any promises, but I do hope to write more often in the month to come. Maybe I should even do an Advent countdown!

Seems like at least one of us has been under the weather since October came along. I’m really looking forward to healthier days. Will be thinking of topics to talk about here so I can chat it up when there’s time!

The last week of October went by very quickly with preparations for Tim’s birthday (see my photo gallery for pics) and then Halloween. Now we’re into the rainy days of fall and I’m wondering just when the snow will come along. (For the record, I love the first snow and don’t mind subsequent snowfalls until Christmas. After that, I’m ready for spring.)

Our pumpkin is cut up and baking in the oven in hopes of a successful attempt to bake my own pumpkin pie. We’ll see… Meanwhile, Tim’s having a blast with his new Little People garage, a ride-on car and his many board books. (Hopefully the love of books will only increase once he learns to read.)

Tim’s a big fan of laptop keys, so I’ll write more when I’m less likely to have sudden typos all over the place.
