Play time!
Going to try a new routine with the toddler, which of course means that the babe has to deal with it, too. 
The plan is to try to keep the errands and chores to the morning (since most appts would be scheduled then, and I’m a morning person). Afternoon is for play time!
So far, today’s errands were done around an outing to a local playgroup – I wanted Tim to experience the gym time at the group (Mondays and Thursdays only), otherwise I could have done normal errands and saved the group for tomorrow.
After lunch, we played out in the yard and then goofed off inside. (Airplane rides and silly chasing games.) Now we’ve found all of Mr. Potatohead’s parts and I’m sneaking in computer time as Tim experiments with different places Mr. P might want to wear his glasses. (Like Tim’s face, which doesn’t seem particularly useful.)
I know that it will take time for Tim to anticipate this new routine, but I’m hopeful that we’ll both get a lot out of it. I may even be able to fit exercise videos into the afternoon if Tim finds it fun to watch/participate.
